Dear All –
After Trump pulled the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Agreement, 12 governors across the nation joined what is now called the U.S. Climate Alliance — a state partnership to keep meeting the goals of the Paris deal, and push the U.S. forward on climate action.
We’ve been calling on Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper to join them. With Trump sending us backwards, Colorado must #ActOnClimate so that we can protect our communities from bigger forest fires and floods, and build a renewable energy economy that will provide jobs without the pollution of oil and gas.
Here is what you can do to help:
Let’s flood the phone lines at the Governor’s office and tell him it’s time to #ActOnClimate!
CALL TODAY AND EVERY DAY UNTIL JULY 6 at 303-866-2471.
Thanks to over 40 partner groups, we are ready to deliver a petition that represents over 100,000 Coloradans. Will you be one of them?
Ask five friends to sign too! Let’s get as many signers as possible to show the power of the climate justice movement in Colorado and make sure we’re heard in the halls of power.
Join us as we rally on the steps of the Capitol on July 5 and deliver our petition to the Governor. Partner groups will highlight why they support climate action during a press conference at 11 a.m.
We need you to help us create a beautiful, noteworthy display of resistance by holding signs and banners.
