Walking Through CHI’s 2022 Health and Climate Index

Colorado communities need a new focus on adapting to a changing climate to advance health equity. Last month, Colorado Health Institute (CHI) published Think Globally, Adapt Locally: Colorado Counties Health and Climate Index. The Index includes a statewide analysis, county data profiles, and an interactive map featuring needs and risks for each county. 

During our July 21 Eggheads webinar, CHI’s climate team will show you how communities can use the Index to analyze their risk in four areas: exposure to climate-related hazards, health outcomes and access to care, social factors that have been linked to climate vulnerability, and plans and perceptions related to climate change and health. There will be time for discussion and questions about how to use the Index.
