GreenLatinos is excited to be working alongside environmental justice advocates in Colorado to help expand access to electric vehicles (EVs). Together, we’re asking the Public Utilities Commission to increase incentives for low-income and environmental justice communities to buy EVs and build EV infrastructure.

Low-income and environmental justice communities have been disproportionately harmed by polluting fossil fuels and have been less able to access clean alternatives like EVs. With your support, we can help more Coloradans drive electric.

The Commission is hosting a *virtual* public hearing on November 12 at 4pm-7pm on proposed new EV programs for Xcel Energy. It’s critical that we fill the hearing with a chorus of strong support for greater incentives for low-income and environmental justice communities. Here’s the login information for the hearing is here:
