This meeting will be offered via Zoom only.

Saturday, January 7th 2023, from 10-11:30 am

Background:

The Air Quality Control Commission approved the greenhouse gas intensity standards in December 2021 and the standards take effect statewide in 2025. The verification rulemaking will be a critical part of applying the greenhouse gas intensity standards that the division developed. The goal of the greenhouse gas intensity program is to reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emitted and this includes emissions of methane, carbon dioxide, and nitrous oxide. It also provides flexibility to operators for how to achieve reductions.
