PRPA Update on Distributed Energy and Integrated Resource Planning

For October, the Northern Colorado chapter of the Colorado Renewable Energy Society will be joined by Platte River Power Authority (PRPA), which has set a goal for carbon-free electrical generation by 2030. PRPA’s Resource Planning Manager, Massod Ahmad, will provide an update on the following:

  • PRPA’s Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) and resource acquisition trajectory,
  • The Distributed Energy Resource (DER) plan,
  • Plans for their next IRP planning process, and
  • Discussions on long-term rate projections

There will be a Q&A session following the main presentation.
