APCD Public Meeting on New Air Monitoring Requirements in DICs
May 21 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Join the Air Pollution Control Division to discuss new air monitoring requirements in disproportionately impacted communities. Many of these communities are home to people of color and low-income families. The division is working on a plan to enhance air monitoring in these Colorado communities.
Your feedback will help the division draft new air monitoring guidance. Air monitoring helps us all better understand the air we breathe. This information can help improve local air quality. This includes communities overburdened by pollution.
The division invites all Coloradans to participate. In particular, the division would like to hear from communities disproportionately impacted by pollution.
The public meeting agenda will include:
- A plain language presentation.
- An opportunity to provide public comments.
- A question and answer session.
Registration is required. Language interpretation services are available upon request.
- Virtual meeting: Tuesday, May 21, 2024, 6 – 8 p.m.
- Register to join the May 21 meeting.
After the meeting, the division will publish presentation materials online.
