May 6 @ 9:00 am – 11:00 pm
Join us to learn about and share feedback on the proposed Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Energy Management for Manufacturing Phase 2 (GEMM 2) Rule for industrial sources.
Spanish interpretation will be provided.
As of July 2021, Colorado law includes requirements for the State’s Industrial sector to reduce GHG emissions 20% by the year 2030, compared to 2015 emissions. May 16-19 2023, the Air Pollution Control Division will go before the Air Quality Control Commission (Commission) to request a rulemaking hearing for a proposed rule to address greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from industrial sources in Colorado. The proposed rule is called the Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Energy Management for Manufacturing Phase 2 (or GEMM Phase 2) Rule and if the Air Quality Control Commission approves the hearing request, the rulemaking hearing will likely be scheduled in September 2023.
