APCD Air Toxics Reporting and Gap Analysis Public Meeting

In 2022, Colorado adopted the Public Protections from Toxic Air Contaminants Act. This law requires certain Colorado air pollution sources to report their annual facility-wide toxic air contaminant emissions.

The first reports are due by June 30, 2024. The Air Pollution Control Division will assess the initial air toxics reports received. The division will use this information and other reported emission data and research to identify gaps in reported emissions. The gap analysis will inform a future rulemaking by the Air Quality Control Commission on potential updates to Colorado’s air toxics reporting program.

Please join the division to discuss current toxic air contaminant reporting and potential gaps. Share your feedback to inform potential revisions to the requirements.

The public meeting agenda will include:

  • A plain language presentation.
  • An opportunity to provide public comments.
  • A question and answer session.
