Mission
The Colorado Coalition for a Livable Climate (CCLC) develops and advocates just and equitable strategies for reducing Colorado’s greenhouse gas emissions to levels supportive of a livable climate.
Vision
The State of Colorado becomes a world leader in transitioning to a safe and healthy climate for future generations by reducing its greenhouse gas pollution every year to levels consistent with limiting the global average temperature rise to 1.5° C (2.7° F), and reaching net-zero emissions as close as technically possible to 2030. Later is too late to do our part to address the unfolding climate catastrophe.

The CCLC welcomes individuals and organizations from all racial, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds, recognizing that Colorado’s climate movement is strengthened by collaboration across our differences. Organizations may become members if they endorse our mission and vision statements. Individuals may become CCLC allies if they support our mission. The CCLC recognizes that the impacts of climate change fall disproportionately on people of color, low-income people and otherwise historically marginalized groups. Thus, the CCLC is committed to uplifting the perspectives, lived experiences and preferred solutions of these communities.
